Zen of Python (tsz. Zen of Pythons)
- (informatika) A PEP 20, vagyis a The Zen of Python egy rövid, tömör és nagyon híres filozófiai összefoglaló, amelyet Tim Peters írt 1999-ben. Ez az „iránytű” vezérli a Python nyelv kialakítását és használatát, valamint a Python közösség gondolkodásmódját.
- Beautiful is better than ugly.
- Explicit is better than implicit.
- Simple is better than complex.
- Complex is better than complicated.
- Flat is better than nested.
- Sparse is better than dense.
- Readability counts.
- Special cases aren’t special enough to break the rules.
- Although practicality beats purity.
