A sablonról [sablondok. infó] [szerkesztés]

This template is used for the headword line of French nouns. It uses Module:fr-headword as a back-end.

It should be used just under the 'Noun' header for French words. For example, on chien:

Noun
Parameters[szerkesztés]

|head=; |head2=; ...
The head word(s), if different from the page name, or to link to individual words. Note that the default behavior with multiword and multipart pronouns is to split the pronoun intelligently and link the individual parts (see below), so this isn't normally needed.
|g= or |1=; |g2=; ...
The gender(s), which should be one of m, f, m-p or f-p. It also accepts mf as a shortcut for m|g2=f.
|2=; |3=; |4=; ...
The plural forms, if the noun is not already plural (as indicated in the gender). The shortcut * can be used if the plural is the same as the singular, and the shortcuts s or x can be used if the plural is formed by adding s or x. If no plural forms are given, the first plural is formed according to default rules (see below). The first plural can also have some special values:
 • -: if the noun is uncountable. The second and higher plural parameters can still be given, and indicate that the noun is usually uncountable, but can sometimes be pluralized.
 • ~: if the noun can be either countable or uncountable, depending on meaning. The countable plural(s) should be specified using the second and higher plural parameters; if not given, the default is the same as for countable nouns.
 • !: if the plural is not attested.
 • ?: if you don't know the plural or are not sure if it even has a plural.
|f=; |f2=; ...
Feminine equivalent noun(s), if any.
|m=; |m2=; ...
Masculine equivalent noun(s), if any.
|suff=1
Term is a suffix rather than a base form (this categorizes into Category:French suffixes and Category:French noun-forming suffixes rather than Category:French nouns).
|splitdash=1
If given, autosplitting is extended to hyphenated words in multiword expressions. See below.

Default plurals[szerkesztés]

The default rule for forming plurals is as follows:

 • If the noun ends in -s, -x or -z, the plural is the same as the singular.
 • If the noun ends in -au or -eu, the plural is formed by adding x.
 • If the noun ends in -al, the plural is formed by changing -al to -aux.
 • Otherwise, the plural is formed by adding -s.

Autosplitting[szerkesztés]

The module that implements this template (and most other French headword templates) uses an intelligent autosplitting algorithm to link portions of multipart and multiword expressions, as follows:

 • The module will automatically split and link distinct space-separated words, similarly to head; hence, tout le monde will be linked as tout le monde.
 • It also splits on apostrophes in the middle of words and includes the apostrophe in the preceding portion. Hence, n'importe quoi will be linked as n'importe quoi. (An exception is made for three words, quelqu'un, c'est and aujourd'hui, which will not be split if they occur as part of larger expressions.)
 • In addition, parts of hyphenated compounds in single-word expressions will be linked individually, e.g. grand-chose will be linked as grand-chose. Hyphenated compound words will not be split if they occur in multiword expressions unless |splitdash=1 is specified, since the compound itself might be a valid word.
